No. 7, MK 1, FERRET .30 caliber Browning Cradle Assembly. The front bracket swivels upright and clips onto the barrel jacket to secure the gun during travel. The remote handle, on the rear of the cradle, swivels downward, to the gunner who is within the vehicle, providing a remote trigger for pointing and firing the gun.
